The Pit Stop, bike tyres are supplied and fitted by enthusiasts who take great care of your pride and joy
We can work in one of three ways. 1/ Bring your loose wheels to
us. 2/ Bring the bike and remove your own wheels here in our garage or 3/ Use our
ride in ride out service and have a coffee while you wait. Removal of a single wheel for only £18.00 or removal
of both wheels only £30.00. This is for most road bikes, superbikes and supermoto bikes. We are unable
to supply or fit "Minimoto" tyres.
We have a workshop paddock stands including
those for bikes with single rear arms, such as BMW, Triumph, Honda, Ducatti etc. We will help you get
the bike onto our bike ramp, and the bike safely mounted and secured on paddock stands. Tools are available for your
use including calibrated torque wrenches.
Some bikes may need the specialist services of "Charlie" at an additional cost. Please see Charlies advert lower down this page.
Dynamic
wheel balancing, For all types of road / track bikes including single rear arm bikes such as BMW,
Honda, Ducati, Triumph etc that require special adaptors. This service is FREE when we are fitting tyres that
you have purchased from us.
Customers wheels balanced only, £12.00
single wheel, £16.00 pair of wheels. Customer supplied tyres fitted to loose wheels only. Tubeless tyre fitted &
balanced £16.00 each. Tube type tyre fitted, £20.00 + cost of tube and rim tape, or £25.00 if you supply
everything.
Motorcycle
wheel refurbishment By Pristine Wheels . Bare naked wheels only (Bearings and brake discs must be
removed) 10"<18" rims £72.00 each, Full "wet paint" finish, not cheap "powder coat"
Silver, White, Black or Anthracite (colour coding please ask) Tyre removal, refitting, valve and balance £16.00,
working on a 5 day turn around
Don't forget to ask for angled valves for your motorcycle
rims. Available Black or Silver, Ideal replacement for your rubber
valves so no more fighting between discs and sprockets with an air line to check your presures. Available in 8.3mm to replace
standard straight bolt in valves, and 11.3mm to replace standard rubber valves.
