The Pit Stop:: About us and what makes us work

The Pit Stop was started in July 2004 to supply tyres and alloy wheels, but not to be just another jack of all trades "fast fit" centre. Because of this you can buy a tyre, get a puncture repaired, your tracking checked and ajusted, buy a set of new wheels, or even have your old wheels refurbished ! However I don't do exhausts, brakes, batteries or the dreaded shock absorbers, so rest assured you won't be pressurised into buying any of these products. This should give you the peace of mind that you will only end up paying for what you need, or want to achieve and nothing else !

I have been in the vehicle repair business for over 35 years now, time served to my trade, but now have the pleasure of specialising in tyres and alloy wheels. After spending many years working for national / large companies I became very disillusioned with the sales pressures and techniques applied, so I started my own company. This way I can continue to work in a proffessional way with integrity and offer a service that the "big boys" can't give..

I supply tyres from most manufacturers, so if you have a specific requirement I am sure we can help. If you need advice on what to do, don't worry, come and talk to me. Be it a car, van, 4x4, Mpv, Motorcycle or scooter I can usually find an answer. All my prices include a new valve, balancing and casing disposal where required.
